Description

Volunteer trainings are held the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month in the education room at the shelter. Training sessions vary with the interests of the volunteer but will generally discuss safety and regulations, and how to work with the animals, adopters, and visitors.

It would be kind of you to bring a bag of Rawhide Chew FLIPS! The dogs spend many hours in a cage waiting for a home and something rugged to chew on would help to give them something to do! The CAP store (and Wal-Mart) sells Rawhide CHEW FLIPS which are the perfect size for the shelter dogs. (about $7.99)
